Terms and Conditions

Please read these terms and conditions of use carefully before using this web site.

These terms and conditions (the "Terms and Conditions") are between you and 2860134 Alberta Inc., the operator of Driving With Us Auto Market ("DWU", "we", "us", "our"). Your use of Drivingwithus.ca depends on your acceptance, without modification, of these Terms and Conditions. By using Drivingwithus.ca you accept these Terms and Conditions.

Modifications of the Terms and Conditions

Drivingwithus.ca may, in its sole discretion and for any reason, modify, supplement or amend these Terms and Conditions without any notice or liability to you or any other person, by posting revised Terms and Conditions on the Drivingwithus.ca web site. Your continued use of the Drivingwithus.ca website signifies your acceptance of such revised Terms and Conditions. View the website to review the most recent version of the Terms and Conditions.

How We Work

Driving With Us Auto Market is operated by 2860134 Alberta Inc. The corporation is an AMVIC-licensed automotive agent/broker in Alberta. Driving With Us Auto Market is an online auto marketplace offering financing support. DWU is not the selling dealer or lender. Vehicles may be listed by third-party dealers, partners or private sellers. The selling party is responsible for the vehicle sale, purchase agreement and required vehicle disclosures. A marketplace listing does not mean DWU owns or sells the vehicle.

When you submit a financing request or application to Drivingwithus.ca (the "Application"), we help coordinate your request through participating dealerships. DWU does not lend money or make lender approval decisions. Approval, rates, terms, down payment and vehicle eligibility depend on the lender's review.

Participating dealerships handle lender submissions and credit checks. DWU does not submit applications directly to lenders or conduct credit checks. Any lender submission or credit check requires the appropriate authorization through the participating dealership.

A request for vehicle options or sourcing assistance is not a credit application.

Authorization

By submitting an Application to Drivingwithus.ca, you certify that the information you provide is true and complete and ask DWU to:

  • review the details you supply to help with your requested service;
  • contact you about your request by telephone, email or text, subject to your communication choices;
  • share relevant details with participating dealerships to help coordinate your financing request, or participating sellers to help with a vehicle enquiry; and
  • relay updates received from the participating dealership about your request.

Submitting this form does not authorize DWU to obtain a credit report. Any lender submission or credit check requires the appropriate authorization through the participating dealership.

DWU does not sell application or lead information. We use and share it only to provide the service you request, as described in our Privacy Policy.

You can withdraw your consent to being contacted by Drivingwithus.ca at any time by notifying us at support@drivingwithus.ca

Private sales and Alberta consumer protection

Alberta private-sale notice: A vehicle sold by a private seller remains a private sale, even when DWU provides agent/broker or financing support. Private-to-private vehicle transactions are not eligible for compensation from the AMVIC Compensation Fund. DWU's agent/broker licence does not turn the private seller into a licensed dealership or provide a dealer warranty. Confirm any warranty in writing with the seller. This notice does not limit any rights you may have under applicable law.

Compensation for transactions with AMVIC-licensed businesses is subject to AMVIC's eligibility rules and limits; it is not automatic or a general vehicle warranty. Read AMVIC's Compensation Fund eligibility rules.

Personal information that is no longer required will be destroyed, erased or made anonymous, although copies of deleted information may continue to exist on back-up media.

Contacting You

Contact about your request is separate from optional advertising tracking or consent to unrelated marketing. You can opt out of commercial texts by replying STOP and unsubscribe from commercial email using its unsubscribe link or by contacting support@drivingwithus.ca. An email unsubscribe withdraws consent for those commercial emails; a text opt-out applies to commercial texts from that sender. To withdraw consent for other uses or sharing, contact support@drivingwithus.ca. Withdrawal may limit our ability to continue the requested service and does not undo processing already completed or any legally required retention. Participating dealerships and lenders have their own privacy obligations; contact them about information they already hold. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Accessing your personal information stored by us

You have the right to access, update and correct inaccuracies in your personal information in our custody or control. To access your personal information, a request must be submitted in writing to us at the address provided in the "Contact us" section of this website. We will respond to your request for access or information in a reasonable time. There may be times when we are unable to fulfill your request - for example, if providing access to your personal information would reveal confidential commercial information or personal information about another individual.

Responding to Privacy Concerns or Complaints

Drivingwithus.ca will respond in a reasonable time to your questions, concerns and complaints about the privacy of your personal information and our privacy policies and procedures. We will investigate and respond to any concern you have regarding the handling of your personal information.

Drivingwithus.ca has designated a privacy officer ("Privacy Officer") who is responsible for our compliance with this Privacy Policy, and for ensuring that information about our policies and practices relating to the management of personal information is easily accessible. All questions or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy or our compliance with it should be directed to the Privacy Officer in writing, and sent by email to support@drivingwithus.ca.
